The
XP Gain Rate is the total multiplier of experience points, resulting from the combination of individual bonuses with each other. By default, this multiplier is set to 1 = 100%.
Low Level Boost
This type of bonus accompanies each new character from the beginning of the game, regardless of the type of account, and gradually decreases from 100% until reaching level 50.
XP Voucher
Vouchers are usually awarded to players as a form of compensation for experiencing massive lags. The
XP Voucher adds 100% to the default base.
Double XP/Skill Weekend
A double experience weekend generally runs as compensation for a server reset but is also activated globally from time to time. It adds 100% to the base
XP Gain Rate.
XP Boost
This is the first paid product of this type. It is worth mentioning that it aroused a lot of controversies, which resulted in the departure of Rookgaard.net from the
Tibia Fansite program. The bonus adds
50% to the base for a specified period of time.
Premium Stamina
The first two hours of stamina with a premium account are completely different from all the above-mentioned bonuses. Well, in this case, you are multiplying the base by a factor of 1.5.
World Quests and Piñata Party
Some world quests also affect the
XP gain rate multiplier. If you successfully complete the
Bewitched or
Demon's Lullaby missions, 50% is added to the default base (in the past, 20% and 10%). Players with premium accounts receive a 50% bonus after completing the
A Piece of Cake mission. Active
Piñata Party fun adds 15% to the base.
To find the final experience multiplier, perform the action described by the formula below.
XP Gain Rate = Base × Premium Stamina
If we are happy owners of a premium account with a character's stamina above 40 hours, then premium stamina takes the value of 1.5. Otherwise, it will be 1.
Example
Let's assume that our character has a
low level boost of 70%, an active
premium stamina, and an
XP voucher running. Moreover, the
double XP/skill weekend global event is taking place. We plan to buy
XP boost, and wonder what the value of the
XP gain rate multiplier will be.
To correctly estimate this, you must first add up all contributions to the base, as shown below.
Base = 100% (default) + double XP weekend + low level boost + XP voucher + XP boost = 100% + 100% + 70% + 100% + 50% = 420%
Then, simply multiply the base by the premium stamina multiplier.
XP Gain Rate = 420% × 1.5 = 630%
This means that our character will receive 6.3 times more experience points for killing the monster.
