Just yesterday, CipSoft announced major changes to how new players begin their adventure in Tibia. Dawnport will officially disappear, and it will be replaced by Newhaven - a new beginner island. This is a return to Tibia’s original concept - a single, final decision on your vocation. Additionally, once you leave Newhaven, there is no going back.
What does this mean for Rookgaard? The creators assure that players currently on Rookgaard will remain there as before, and new characters will still be able to visit Rookgaard from Newhaven.

Another interesting change is the end of the “rooking” mechanic. After the update, returning to Rookgaard or any other starting island will no longer be possible, and characters will not be able to drop below level 6 on mainland.

The only unresolved question is how item transfers from Newhaven to Rookgaard will work… We will try to get an answer from the creators and will update you in the comments.
