We have great news for you!
As a Supported Tibia Fansite, we have officially been given a unique opportunity to conduct an interview with Knightmare – the legendary creator of Rookgaard and one of the people who had a huge influence on shaping Tibia as we know it today.
This is a one-of-a-kind chance to look back at the early days of the game, ask about the behind-the-scenes creation of Rookgaard, inspirations, unused ideas, and Knightmare’s perspective on modern Tibia.
And this is where you come in!
We want this interview to be created together with the community. That’s why we’re giving you the floor and inviting you to share what you’d like to ask Knightmare. There are no bad ideas – nostalgic, technical, lighthearted, or humorous topics are all very welcome.
Leave your question suggestions in the comments under this post or on our social media channels. The most interesting questions will be selected and passed directly to Knightmare during the interview.

Okay, hear me out. We all want to know about the sword of fury, that's a given. But what I want to know is HOW it was done. We know at one point in time it was solveable, but no longer. Im dying to know what Knightmare had cooked up as the true solution before it was removed, and if anyone truly did it.

Rookgaard seems abandoned and ignored by developers; the community isn’t heard and many players stopped proposing improvements. The island has potential for new content but is treated as a legacy with no updates, leaving current interest uncertain. Sword of Fury sounds legendary: a mage minotaur portal, a sealed ghoul with a life ring, premium goblins triggering stalagmites with levers, and storage rooms for supplies. Much could evolve, but it’s been too long.
